The harvest area has a plan of innovation and competitive development of the processes and technologies to guarantee the timely supply of cane to the factory.

The harvest process is organized on three administrative fronts:


The stems of the sugar cane that have the adequate maturation conditions are cut. This can be done mechanized.


The cane that has been manually cut through the lifting machines is picked up from the ground and unloaded in wagons, either from the front of direct shot or self-turning.


The cane is moved from the different lands to the Ingenio by means of three fronts:

  • Front 1 (Direct Shot)
  • Front 2 (Autovolteo)
  • Mechanized Harvest
