The harvesting area has a plan for innovation and competitive development of processes and technologies to guarantee the timely supply of sugarcane to the mill.
The harvesting process is organized in three administrative fronts:
Cutting: The sugarcane stalks that have the appropriate ripening conditions are cut. This can be done mechanized.
Elk:
The cane that has been manually cut is collected from the ground by means of lifting machines and unloaded onto wagons, either from the direct draft or self-drawn front.
Transport:
The cane is moved from the different lands to the sugar mill by means of three fronts:
Front 1 (Direct Shooting) Front 2 (Autovolteo) Mechanized Harvesting
