Elk, Cutting and Transport

The harvesting area has a plan for innovation and competitive development of processes and technologies to guarantee the timely supply of sugarcane to the mill.

The harvesting process is organized in three administrative fronts:

Cutting:
The sugarcane stalks that have the appropriate ripening conditions are cut. This can be done mechanized.

Elk:

The cane that has been manually cut is collected from the ground by means of lifting machines and unloaded onto wagons, either from the direct draft or self-drawn front.

Transport:

The cane is moved from the different lands to the sugar mill by means of three fronts:

Front 1 (Direct Shooting)
Front 2 (Autovolteo)
